Participate in the evolution of an innovative real estate platform. The incumbent will be involved in the evolution of our platforms, from needs analysis and maintenance to development strategy and infrastructure.

A typical day in the life of a web developer

  • Develops applications in compliance with IT department development norms and standards.
  • Writes, debugs and updates software source codes.
  • Creates the required tables in the various databases and ensures relationships between tables in the various applications.
  • Develops and executes test plans, simulations, test benches and all quality control processes required for each application, and makes the necessary corrections following analysis of the results.
  • Analyze requests and develop robust, reliable and high-performance code;
  • Present solutions instead of problems during Scrum meetings.
  • Participates in the elaboration of functional and architectural specifications for various software functionalities.
  • Analyzes and documents requirements in relation to the strategic plan and the IT department.
  • Evaluates the performance of existing solutions and proposes corrective measures or improvements as required.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Job-related skills
  • Relevant experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core development
  • Relevant experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft development ecosystem (Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, etc.)
  • J-Query
  • Result oriented: be proactive and produce or exceed expected results.
  • Share knowledge and expertise across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal and/or external teams to share expertise.
  • Communicate with other disciplines in order to understand their issues and contribute to the achievement of their respective objectives.

Other skills

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Good ability to read and understand existing code
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize and solve problems.

Assets

  • Experience in API development
  • Knowledge of PHP and Framework
  • Experience in client-server development (C#)
  • Ability to do a minimum of integration (CSS, LESS, etc.) where necessary
