Steps to follow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To generate your RL31, you’ll need your preparer number and your Revenu Qu\u00e9bec numerical sequence. To receive it, follow this procedure.<\/a> If you’ve already done your RL-31 slip with Proprio Expert in the past, reuse the same information; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Go to the “Reports” tab and click on “RL-31 Slip” in the “Statements and declarations” section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on “Add” in the top right-hand corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Enter your preparer number under “Preparer number”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Make sure that the tax year is correct and that the “Return type” is “Original”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Under “Statement number”, enter the first number in the sequence provided by Revenu Qu\u00e9bec. You will find this sequence in the same e-mail as your preparer number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Select all your units (check “Apartment”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Click on “Finish”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Click on “Cancel”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Open the “Tenants statements” file to validate that all information is correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Once validation is complete, click on the “Submit” button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Click on “Transmit”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Answer “Yes” to the question to confirm that you want to send your statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. Once the statements have been approved by Revenu Qu\u00e9bec, click on “Email” to send them to the tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14. Click on “Send”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have now generated and sent your RL-31 slip.<\/p>\n<\/div>
