Steps to Follow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Go to the \u201cAccounting\u201d tab and the \u201cCollections\u201d subtab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. In the selector at the top left, select the unit you want to modify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Click on \u201cInvoicing\u201d at the top right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Make sure that the invoice is assigned to the right company, property, and unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Check \u201cLease\u201d in the \u201cAssignation\u201d column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Select the account \u201c4700 – Discount.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Describe the discount in the “Description” section (e.g. August 2021 free).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Enter the amount of the rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Click anywhere, and the amount will automatically become negative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Select the date (the first day of the free month) at the top right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Click on \u201cFinish.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Check that, in the \u201cCollections\u201d subtab, the balance of the free month is at zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have now given the tenant a free month.<\/p>\n<\/div>
